Eagle Rock Distributing Company & Local Craft Distiller to Launch Artisan Rum

Eagle Rock Distributing Company, a leading beverage distributor of beer, wine and liquor throughout Georgia, announced that the first batch of Richland Rum will be released and available in select retail stores, bars and restaurants in the state of Georgia on November 30, 2012.

Richland Rum is handcrafted locally in historic downtown Richland, Georgia, with all natural ingredients; it is fermented, distilled and aged for one year in oak barrels and bottled by the Richland Distilling Company.

“Richland Rum brings back a unique artisan approach to crafting premium quality rum,” said Carly Craine, Director of Wine and Spirits for Eagle Rock, “from selecting natural ingredients to developing the perfect recipe to using vintage equipment such as a copper pot still, every aspect of crafting Richland Rum is focused on quality – not quantity.”

Jay McCain, Richland Distilling Company’s Master Distiller said, “batch one has been pampered to maturity in oak barrels for one year at our distillery and we are thrilled to start sharing our unique, locally produced product with anyone who appreciates a truly delicious rum.”
