With a degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University, Ellen Hough has enjoyed a career in various related fields in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Now, in her retirement, she joins her husband, Jim, and two grown sons as they create a whiskey distillery from a turn-of-the-century building on the historic National Road near the backyard of David Bradford's restored home. Through her research efforts into the area's history and whiskey-making records, she hopes to bring honor and recognition to the bravery of a few humble farmers who just wanted a fair tax.
