ADI President Erik Owens' career in the world of craft spirits came as a natural fit after spending his early life surrounded by brewers as the son of ADI Founder Bill Owens. After a previous career working as a technical writer in BioTech, he switched tracks to bring his lifelong love of science and spirits to dedicate himself full time to the art, business and community of craft distilling. He lives with his wife and two children in Concord, CA.
