Michael Delevante has worked in the liquor industry since 1963, starting with Appleton Rum in Jamaica as Distillery Manager. In 1977 he emigrated to Canada and joined McGuinness Distillers where he responsible for technical operations in their four plants. In 1992 he started his own consulting group, and has designed and commissioned several craft distilleries producing liqueurs, rum, vodka, gin and whiskeys.
