ST LOUIS – More than 1000 spirits industry professionals and media joined American Distilling Institute (ADI) in honoring New Liberty Distilling at an awards luncheon last Friday afternoon during ADI’s annual conference at the St Louis Convention Center. The annual Bubble Cap award is given to distilleries making contributions to the industry by advancing modernized legislation and making world class spirits. New Liberty meets both criteria with their longtime support of the Pennsylvania Distillers Guild and their numerous awards in multiple spirits competitions.

New Liberty Distillery (https://newlibertydistillery.com) was co-founded in 2013 and is currently operated by a board of spirits industry veterans: Robert Cassell, Tony Folio, Tom Jensen, Frank Maher, William Dabbelt, and Malcom Jenkins. The board oversees New Liberty Distillery and its revived heritage whiskey brand, Kinsey; break out ready-to-drink canned cocktail brand American Liquor Company (ALCO); and now Faber Distilling and its bottling and contract production arm.

American Distilling Institute is the largest small-batch, independently owned craft distillery association in the world. Founded in 2003, ADI has become a beacon for the diverse and inclusive craft distilling community — serving as the go-to source for all information on craft distilling.

ADI exists to promote and defend the enterprise of craft distilling. We embrace the passion and fierce independence of our community. We host industry events and provide developmental and educational resources to help ensure the art of craft distilling continues to grow and thrive. It is this unwavering commitment to the craft distilling community that is at the core of ADI.
