Making Rye Whiskey Workshop at McClintock Distilling

Learn everything you need to mill, mash, ferment, distill and age a rye whiskey. Learn the practical skills and get hands-on experience mashing this tricky whiskey and taste through two different distillations to hone your palate for cuts, faults and desired notes. The workshop includes a balance of theory to discuss the chemistry and common problems with making whiskey and business concerns such as equipment selection, forecasting and yield projections.
The bus will leave the Hilton Baltimore at 8:15am.
After the workshop, a tour of McClintock Distilling will complete the morning and the bus will return to the Hilton by 3:30pm. Sandwiches will be provided on the return bus.
