ADI’s mission is to provide distilling education for those looking to become a distiller or open a distillery. We have trained hundreds of distillers and helped provide information for the launch of many of the top Craft Distilleries in the US, Canada and abroad. We offer classes that cover such topics as: Business Plan, Regulatory, Fermentation, Distillation, Distribution, Marketing, Maturation, Packaging and Raw Materials. Members of ADI have access to the ADI EDU Video Library, which has educational videos of lectures, past conference materials, webinars and more!

Craft Spirits Conference and Vendor Expo

The annual ADI Conference offers 1, 2 and 3 day classes in various topics (distillery start up, nosing for faults, whiskey, etc), over 40 educational breakout sessions over two days, tastings, Gin Summit, panel discussions on industry topics, and more. READ MORE

Distilling Research Grant

The DRG goal is to support academic research in distilling to advance the cannon of knowledge around craft distilling and to publish the finding of the research to help everyone make better spirits. An annual online auction of donated goods and services held in September and November  provides the funding of the research. READ MORE
