Distilling a product on a new still should feel like an upgrade, but instead it can feel like an existential crisis. When the Four Corners Gin changed co-packers, that meant using a radically different production still, resulting in a different spirit from the same recipe. This seminar addresses the product consistency challenges that occur when moving or scaling production forces a change in stills. The Four Corners distillers review recipe modifications that helped recapture the original spirit, and how these techniques can aid other distillers.
