He began his career as a member of a design team in Vail, CO and creating a wide variety of buildings ranging from five-star hotels in Vail and Beaver Creek, CO to schools, universities, correctional facilities and hospitals throughout the country. Scott has benefited from employment with several top tier design firms in Colorado, Ohio and Mississippi.Recognizing a disconnect between architectural design and construction, Scott began a design-build practice. He designed and built high-end award-winning and often historic residential and small commercial projects. Today Scott, and his wife Colleen, own Dalkita. Scott holds a Class ‘A’ Denver Contractor Supervisor’s Certificate and is a licensed architect in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin.
