Bradley Abramson, Ph.D. is a career scientist focused on sustainability. Brad received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University in cell and molecular biology and an undergraduate degree from Purdue University. He currently works as a Sr. Scientist in the field of genomics and bioengineering. Having relocated from the Great Lakes region to southern California a few years ago, he became determined to help conserve water. He founded New Tides Distillery in San Diego, California as the Chief Science Officer and developed a passion for distilling using ocean water to offset the freshwater used in the mashing process.
